A friend from the library
I forgot to post this on time. A photo of the gravestone of Dina Carter, who worked in the Manuscripts and Archives department at the National Library. She was murdered in the bombing on Mt. Scopus three years ago. The Hebrew date of her death was three days ago, the 22nd of Av.
A sculpture she made, a fascinating exploration of the relationship between readers and books, is on display in the lobby of the library.
